Chopper Central Parts Exchange and Additional Services

Here at Chopper Central, we are launching a unique service to the Chopper Restoration Scene. Our Raleigh Chopper Parts Exchange Service will allow Restorers and Enthusiasts to Part-exchange a number of larger Chopper Parts, such as Frame Sets, Handlebars, Mudguards, Seats & Wheels. For practical reasons, exchanges will only be available on parts clearly marked with (PEA) (Part Exchange Available on this Item) and will only normally be for items that are collected in person. If you do wish to send a Part-exchange item in the post, we will be happy to let you know its PEA Value, before you purchase the replacement item, which will then be shipped.

Frame Exchange and Frame Restoration

We offer a comprehensive Frame Set Restoration Service, which includes Media-blasting, Priming, Spraying (to your required colour), Decal Application and finally Clear Lacquering. We prefer to spray our frames, rather than have them powder-coated, as this is much closer to the original factory finish. We do have some Powder Coated frames available from time-to-time, be these tend to come to us as projects, that have been started by third parties.

Our Frame exchange programme allows enthusiasts out there to complete their re-builds much quicker. Frame are normally complete with; Bottom Bracket (fitted), Stand (fitted), Headset (fitted), Original Chain Guard. We cab also fit Heron Badges (Gold Rivets).
